It's great that there's a documentary about his story. It's so important for people to see

the fact that men can be abused by women
the fact that it is dangerous and not just ultimately harmless (because I've heard a lot of people say things like "yeah, women can be violent towards men. But it's basically a non-issue because it doesn't hurt or cause injuries")
the fact that the woman can manipulate the man into staying (so it's not as simple as "men usually have the money to just leave if it's really that bad")

I'm so glad that he finally ended up leaving; there are too many cases where the victim ends up dead, or just stuck in a long-term abusive relationship where he's constantly miserable but can see no way out

I'm also really grateful that there are police officers like Ed, who are truly willing to understand the situation and help the victim, rather than just assuming the man must be in the wrong
