What're your views about texting?

Obviously don't talk with her for hours on end or reply immediately, basics.

But once you get her number, do you just build rapport and tease? And THEN ask her out? What's like the basic ideology here? (Build rapport and ask out?/ just set a time and place?/ banter, tease, talk a little, and then ask out?)
