Chick at work was in the back with a bunch of other women sitting around talking. I happened to walk by to get some supplies to bring to the front. Mind you she'd only been working there a couple of days so she and I hadn't ever actually spoken. She looks straight at me while telling the girls, "the fight for equality might look like oppression to those who have been the oppressors". There I was, working my minimum wage job oppressing them with all my privilege keeping them in the back of the store on the clock while other people did all the work.

At some point you've got to check your bullshit, right?

Totally accurate-people who say men arent facing problems because figures claim women dont self identify as feminists miss the point-feminism and female supremacy has become SO common and accepted that women dont see it as 'feminism' anymore-they just see it as 'normal' and baseline.
