In the divorce court the Judge ordered the sale of the land which was originally purchased for 30,000 Australian dollars in 1989. 20,000 was to go to my dad and the remainder was to go to my mother.

My mother was angry at the ruling and so she waited 15 years until my father died of cancer.

After my dad's death my mother sold it for around 100,000 dollars then gave 20,000 to my dads widow, keeping the rest for herself which was around 80,000 AU.

The widow told me that most of the 20,000 dollars was used on the funeral and costs.
