Only 40 years, not even life in prison or the death penalty (which she deserved). If the situation was reversed and it was a guy (regardless of race) who had done this, there would be massive outrage and calls for the death penalty. But because she's a fairly decent looking white girl, she only got 40 years which is disgusting because she'll probably be out in half that time or less.
