This is just a list of anecdotal quotes from men that seem to have a chip on their shoulder. Women did not have the right to vote for a long time. So the answer is yes, women have been opposed in one way, shape, or form from this one example alone.

Men's rights should absolutely not be about what woman do or do not have. This is not a competition. This is not a tit-for-tat position. Discussing men's issues does not need or warrant a comparison to woman's issues. And to suggest they do not have any is incredibly foolish.

Women did not have the right to vote for a long time.

Neither did men, if a man did not own property, he could no vote either. The only time men got the right to vote was when they became subject to the draft. Hundreds of thousands of men died for the right to vote, not women.

This is not necessarily refuting my point. In highlights something else in fact. Oppression comes in many forms. Woman, blacks, other groups of people etc. have faced it in one way or another. What this highlights, to me, is the root of it all, classism. The rich do not fight wars. The rich owned the property. The rich create policy. The rest is simply a division to keep us fighting amongst ourselves. Poor people have been oppressed, people of color have been oppressed, women have been opposed. LGBT+ have been oppressed The only ones not oppressed in the last few hundred years are rich white men.

The Oppression Olympics is a distraction.

Woman, blacks, other groups of people etc.

Do not ever, don't even try, to put women with blacks. Its downright racist, and as this video has pointed out, historically wrong. Did you even bother to watch the video?

What this highlights, to me, is the root of it all, classism.

And women as a class, have always been treated better than men as a class.

The rich create policy.

Do you know who creates policy now? It's the women's lobby, and it's usually at the expense of men.
