That being said, what is interesting is how "she ignored my no but it's fine" is just accepted. In the cases where women said this, I usually immediately see people calling the men predatory rapists who are an eternal danger to society and the woman's "it's fine" is called internalized misogyny and trauma coping by denial.

Another thing I see is the high prevalence of negative experiences regarding "no" in addition to all the virgin/single male shaming and misandristic expectations we are confronted with throughout our lives. I wonder how that affects men's actual desire to say no. A bit like an electro shock collar for dogs. It sounds innocent when that woman says she just undresses and he immediately goes to her... but when you think about the fact that he was conditioned into that behaviour using verbal, physical and sexual abuse as well as peer-pressure and shaming, it sounds less romantic.

Don't get me wrong, I said before that I do not think that "just call everything rape" is a constructive approach (whatever terms there are should not discriminate against one sex though) and neither do I think that all of the perpetrators mentioned here are necessarily a perpetual risk to society or had the intention to cause harm, yet it is interesting to see how comparatively calm and collected the reactions towards this by both men and women are, especially when looking at the way potential male perpetrators are portrayed in similar cases.

And it actually seems a lot of women there still stay in denial, suggesting it might be generational without any evidence. I do not claim bad faith, I just think that the gender unconsciously influences their initial explanations regarding this.
