I may get downvoted to hell for saying this, but if these are the women you are trying to partner with, you are doing it wrong. Find someone who accepts you, loves you for you, not some hyper-masculine, stoic bastardization of yourself.

I too found a unicorn but it's hard living so close to my family, my step mom is in the second border line 1st group as are many other female influences in our lifes (some more than others go to 1st group) and it muddles the water a little when they try to plant negative seeds. :( me and my partner are egalitarian as well but its had being in so small a group and veiws

I would be as wary of the second group than I am of the first. Because being lover with the second kind also mean having to put up daily with their misandrist things. There is also the risk of having a son with them and you don't want your son to be hurt by her.

The part of finding a "boys' network" is a really good idea.
