Cannot be outraged. Dissappointed, yes, but I've seen the same song and dance routine with popular culture before.
Also predictable that Eddie Murphy would agree to this. A former raunchy comedian unafraid to poke fun at every outlandish aspect of life went the family comedy route with Disney and is now presenting a sterile, pale imitation of his glory days. Even without he woke aspect, NOBODY asked for a sequel to Coming To America.
Hell the original's brand of comedy wouldn't even be ALLOWED nowadays unless you did what they did here: Scrub all the "dirt" out, civilize it and virtue signal.

They're too big to fail. They have so much money that they can just waste it all on pointless nonsense.
Of course, you do see some of them that get in trouble. The BBC isn't doing well at the moment but overall, theu just have so much power that they don't have to fear being held accountable by their own customers. Look at Gillete. Gillete lost a ton of money doing that ad but since they were already a mult-million dollar company it made very little difference to them at the end of the day.
The rich are essentially above rebuke in this country.

Oh no they got to Eddie!
At least we still have David Chappell, Chris Rock and Bill Burr.

All of them old-heads who already made their money. There will be no one to replace them.
