How society brainwashes us into normalizing men checking out other women while in a relationship. They rarely blame the guy and expect the woman to accept his abusive behavior

"There is nothing wrong with your boyfriend staring at women. Come on! None can ignore a nice ass, cleavage, or beautiful face. Perhaps you're the problematic one? If you weren't so insecure, you wouldn't mind this at all. In fact, you would even point out other women to your boyfriend so you could both enjoy the view! And guess what? When I did this my boyfriend loved me even more because *I was not the other girls* and proposed next year with a cheeto ring <3"

I have found very few ones who point out that the boyfriend is at fault, but they still ask the woman to be **UnDErStANdINg** because they cannot control themselves

Talked to my therapist about this because I once thought, during months, that I was crazy for getting upset when my (now ex) bf checked others in front of me.
My therapist told me: You're not crazy, what he was doing is abusive. He is making you feel less. He is with you but his eyes are in another woman. He is fantasizing about another woman while holding your hand. He is saying "what I already have is not enough and I would love to pursue other bodies". He is not respecting you. You should be the most beautiful woman for him. He should feel like he has won the lottery only because you tell him about your day or sitting next to him.

Thanks to my therapist, I am not afraid to apply FDS in all aspects of my life. Almost all my friends think that oozing at others while in a relationship (even in front of their SO) is completely normal and that complaining means that you are insecure and that YOU should be the one working on this.

Ladies, what is your take on this?
