I can’t even describe to what I’ve gone through with my now ex boyfriend. We lived together for 2 years, and because i worked from home, he always accused me of cheating when he was at work. He went so far as saying i had someone living in the attic and they would come downstairs when he was gone. He accused me of sleeping with his father, cousin, his cousin’s girlfriend…all people who i had only seen when i was with him. I couldn’t take it anymore, he was constantly accusing me of cheating and the name calling was horrible. He wouldn’t help out with bills because he said i had other men in the house when he was gone so why should he pay.

One minute he was the nicest person ever but it only took one second for him to turn suspicious and he was a whole different person. I asked him to leave just recently, he moved in with his sister. We decided that we would still try to work out the relationship just not live together. We went out for food and one of my male friends called. A platonic male friend that i hadn’t seen in 15 years. I spoke to him over speaker phone so there was nothing funny. Everything was fine that night and the next morning i got a text a 4 am that said, did you and your friend have fun last night?

I got a text that said he was done because I’m a liar and that I had been cheating. My heart is crushed, i took a lot of mental abuse only for him to play the victim. What goes through the mind of people with PPD during and after a breakup? Do they care? How do I move on. I’m so upset because I didn’t do ANY of the things I was accused of. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks
