Violence will always be a part of human nature. It is the fastest way to a resolution amongst men and this subreddit exists to point out a double standard. Women claim to want equal reward but refuse to except equal responsibility or risk. The videos you are referencing are women getting violent and then being met with force. You wouldn't be surprised if the situation had 2 men because the fight would be glaringly obvious to you but feel the need to shelter women from the same situation. Women are capable of making their own choices and facing their own consequences without needed to be babysat by you.

I would like to point out, different people have different definitions of self defense, personally I think that non-violent doesn't mean that it doesn't count as self defense. Verbal abuse can damage a person just as much, can lead to people committing suicide, and I feel no empathy for people who are deserving of violence, the indication that violence in self-defense only indicates that police that have to kill a perpetrator who isn't attacking them personally, but still needs that to stop them are also wrong, plus if someone threatens to kill you, I personally believe that they shouldn't have the chance. This opinion also implies that the death penalty is never okay, and while I don't support the method of the death penalty, I support that it happens to anyone. Sometimes violence is the only way to teach others, if someone was attacking your mother, you'd probably beat the hell out of them, but it wouldn't count as self-defense when in court, that would be more of a vigilante move, but you wouldn't want to let your mom get hurt.
