My job will allow me to work remotely for at least the next few months. I am allowed to work anywhere in the US. I'm grew up near LA although I could stay here with my family and get free rent, I'd like to try living elsewhere as I'm tired of the stuck-up, status-obsessed people here

I hear NY, Miami, Las Vegas, Santa Barbara and Chicago might be the best cities in the US for women. However, NY and Chicago don't sound appealing considering the weather now

Any opinions on best places to live in the US at this time of the year?
