i. A woman has a less severe burden of proof than a man to try to prove she was not responsible for committing a crime.

ii. A women is less likely than a man to be convicted for such crime.

iii. A woman, if convicted for a crime, faces a generally less harsh punishment than a man convicted for the same crime.

iv. A woman convicted for a same type of crime a man was convicted for, faces a greater likelihood of being released earlier or put on probation earlier, for less serious crimes and with less requirements than a man facing an identical situation.

v. A woman is less likely than a man to be convicted for domestic abuse crimes, sexual assault or rape.

vi. A woman is punished less severely than a man for making false accusations/false testimony and is less likely to be punished by courts in case of making false accusations/false testimony, this being especially the case for false rape claims.

vii. A woman is less likely than a man to be socially condemned within its community for having exercised criminal conduct and more likley to be forgiven for it, no matter its gravity or extent.
