They give an example of a boy wanting to escape his abusive father.

An abusive husband to his wife, and then their daughter.

A link to another article located in the middle of the text, entitled, "Number of women killed at highest level since 2006".

Another states, "Women 'need better pay and abuse protection'".

I think this would give people reading the article the wrong idea.

It is very hard to find statistics based on gender of the abuser, I couldn't find any on the NSPCC site. I suspect it is because the wrong narrative would be set if they published it was mostly mothers, as a wider search suggests that that's the case.

Would welcome to more accurate figures if anyone has any.
