Do you have a source for that? Because "prepubescent children" means children that haven't entered puberty yet, and I don't know of many doctors that would agree to let a prepubescent child be put on hormone blockers, or any hormone affecting medications for that matter, regardless of what they identify. The vast majority of children that identify as genders different from their assigned birth gender are not put any hormone treatment, especially before puberty. They may elect to want to do so upon and/or after the onset of puberty, but they have to be cleared by their doctor AND a psychiatrist/ gender therapist to do so. Even then, it rarely happens. Most transgendered people started transitioning after the age of 18, for various reasons. To claim otherwise is a baseless accusation.

First off, that's not even factually correct. There are hundreds if not thousands of species cable of changing their sexes, or even being hermaphroditic. Some frogs can change their sexes in the absence of mates in their area. Some starfish are hermaphroditic and reproduce asexually. Some worms too. Hell, their have been identified cases of some animals adopting gender roles of their opposite sex's, such as these five lions.. And secondly, you're commiting the logical fallacy of appealing to nature. Something being "natural" is in no way necessarily valid, justified, good, or ideal. And therefore, the inverse is true. Something being "unnatural" does NOT make it necessarily bad, or invalid. Humans taking medicine and shitting into toilets is "unnatural". A subject's "naturalness" doesn't prove or disprove much of anything.

Again, very few minors are on hormones at this age, and of those all of them have been vetted by medical professionals. I can tell you that none of them are having anything about them being butchered. You are intentionally using violent language to create the false perception that these people are being physically maimed. I assume you are suggesting that these minors are being given sexual reassignment surgery, and I can safely tell you that no, they aren't. That's something any medical professional wouldn't condone. These are consenting people, who have been heavily informed of the pros and cons of the situation. They are not being forced to do anything, and they are not being tricked. You may as well claim that a minor receiving corrective foot surgery is being "butchered", for the same amount of sense it would make. You could easily verify this by actually asking one of these rare people who actually managed to start transitioning this early what they thought and felt about it. But I doubt you'll bother.

You're right in that science hasn't proved that being transgender is genetic, but there have been increasing numbers of studies that are indicating that this may be the case, as well as several studies that have found direct correlation between brain structure and gender identity (which you can find with literally 5 minutes of reading a Wikipedia article). This is all ignoring the fact that people can be born with sex chromosome anomalies, which results in their gender not matching their body on a genetic or physical level. Examples include but are not limited to: Klinefelter Syndrome (male born with XXY chromosomes), De la Chapelle Syndrome (male born with XX; female, chromosomes), Swyer Syndrome (female born with XY; male, chromosomes), and Turner Syndrome (female born with only one X chromosome). These people either develop sexual characteristics that don't match their assigned birth gender, or they don't develop them at all. People born with XX chromosomes can present with male gonads. People born with XY chromosomes can have ovaries. Physical sex is not as cut and dry as you make it out to be, and neither is gender identity. Being trans isn't learned just as being gay isn't learned. It's just how you are.

So does eating steak. Or consuming alcohol. Or eating too much sugar. Or cooking food in plastic containers. There are hundreds of things the average person is exposed to that increases the chances of developing cancer. I'd bring up the fact that anything that doctors prescribe patients has to be vetted and approved by the FDA, but I get the feeling you'd just chalk it up to them being in on the conspiracy. Also, "guinea pigs" implies that Big Pharma is doing this as some kind of test. A test for what? To prove what we already know; that different hormones affect the body differently? What are you inferring here?

I don't see how such things are "nonsensical BS" as scientists have actually proven that they do verifiably affect the human body. Eating red meats has been show to increase your risk of developing cancer (read here). Alcohol consumption increases your risk of developing cancer significantly. I brought it up because you brought up that "hormones increase your risk of cancer". Ironically, BPA in plastics has been found to have estrogenic and androgenic properties (although they don't bind to hormone receptors the same way natural hormones do, and scientists are dubious about whether this aspect actually poses a significant health risk). You could have used this talking point to support your arguments if you were actually knowledgeable enough to know about it or care.

Again, you bring up testing like these people are being experimented on. The hormones used for hormone replacement therapy are the exact same one found natural in the human body in both sexes. The difference is the amounts. All puberty is is the endocrine glands releasing certain hormones in certain amounts after a certain period of time. That's it. This isn't some new, unknown field. Scientists have been studying how hormones affect the human body for many decades. They know that hormones affect the body in predictable ways, and can tailor this for individual circumstances. You're approaching the argumentative level of anti-vaxxers telling people to not vaccinate because "vaccines have formaldehyde in them!". You're lacking a clear understanding on the science being discussed and so are presenting arguments that don't even begin to have a basis in reality.

Do you know what would happen to someone if they went on hormone replacement therapy during the onset of puberty? They would simply develop the secondary sexual characteristics of the opposite sex, rather than their own biological sex. A boy's penis and testes would remain physically more or less the same as they were pre-puberty. A girl's vagina would remain physically more or less the same as pre-puberty. They both may experience changes in size to some degree, but not in such a way that's considered physically harmful. They'll still experience secondary sexual development characteristics of the sex they prefer (body hair, bone structure, fat redistribution, etc.). They both would be rendered sterile, thought I believe the girl's eggs could be made viable if they were to attempt reversing the hormone therapy at a later date. These last two points are the main reason why minors are rarely ever allowed to be put on hormone replacement therapy, as they have to have the full understanding of the repercussions of the procedure. Which is why they have to be vetted by a therapist before doctors will even agree to it. There isn't a single trans person who goes into hormone replacement therapy with the expectation that their sexual functions will remain the same as their biological sex would indicate. This is why some trans people later elect to undergo sexual reassignment surgery, but not all trans people do this. Again, no reputable surgeon would ever greenlight a minor undergoing this. Your continued insistence that these hypothetical minors (because you still haven't provided evidence for your claim that they are undergoing hormone replacement therapy en masse) are being butchered or having their sexual organs destroyed is a subjective opinion that doesn't hold up to scrutiny.

Well, I can't speak for any god on the matter, but I can say that science actually does know what hormone blockers due in the long run, and that is "they block certain hormone receptors from binding with their assigned hormone molecules, which are then flushed out of the body as waste". That's it. They only health risk associated with hormone blockers is if a person takes them without also taking another hormone to replace the blocked one, in which case the person will develop osteoporosis. This can easily be prevented by the individual either taking hormone supplements or discontinuing the use of the blockers. I should remind you that hormone blockers and supplements have existed for decades before they were used for hormone replacement therapy. They were used in treating various conditions affecting hormone production. They were reasonably safe then, they're still reasonably safe now. Claiming otherwise is fear-mongering ignorance of long established medical science.

Because it has noteworthy implications on the minors' veracity in their ability to self identify as transgendered or non-binary, and because you continuously used the phrase "pre-pubescent" to refer to the child you purpose are being "butchered". 11- 16 years of age is literally the age range minors are experiencing puberty. These are not "pre-pubescent children". Them being minors does not somehow abstain them from experiencing independent thought or rationality. Nor does it belittle these minors' self identities.

It does, though, as it signifies that, biologically, human aren't even necessarily the sex that they are gendered as from birth, and this has implications on the social dynamic surrounding gender. Some intersex people consider themselves transgender and attempt to transition so as to better fit what society genders them as. Invalidating trans people by extension invalidates these people who genetically, physically, and sometimes socially do not fit into your definitions and expectations of gender.

I know of one reported case of anything even approaching this happening. One. And if I recall correctly, it was a man who had already been convicted of multiple sexual assault accounts against women. Even then, I didn't look into the details very much at the time, as this was years ago and I was busy with other things. They shouldn't have been left near women regardless of what gender they identify as, but that's a failure of the justice system to enact policies for these situations. You see "rapist man identifies as woman to get into women's prison" and blame it on the trans community who had nothing to do with it, rather than the justice system who left them change prisons. Unless you think the trans community was somehow secretly colluding with this individual?

No, they'll probably wonder why a 7 year old is showing attraction to anyone at that age, beyond childish crushes and the like. Even if they were of age to experience romantic attraction to others, no "trans teacher" would ever insinuate that that makes them trans. You're conflagrating sexual orientation with gender identity, a talking point frequently used by ill-informed anti-trans people. Sexual orientation has little to nothing to do with how someone identifies their gender. You can be trans and be attracted to anyone, it's inconsequential. And again, you make claims without providing examples or even logical thought experiments. You're just saying it is one way or the other and leaving it at that. "Most of it is complete nonsense" is unhelpful because, not only is it an opinion, but it can't even be verified because you don't explain what about "it" is "nonsense".

If Trans teachers were just going into schools and educating the kids to respect trans people, I’d have no problem with it.

At the end of the day, we both know deep down in our logical minds, that transgenders are being produced in the Western World, because of their environment. Most transgenders also suffer with mental health problems.

No, we both "don't" because we do not share a homogeneous logical mind. In fact, I had wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt about how "logical" you are, but I'm starting to hesitate on that front. I don't think you've given me a single logical argument. Instead you spout conspiracy theories, unverifiable ghost stories, and disinformation. Nothing you argue so far has been "logical". But you are right about one thing: most transgender people do suffer from mental health problems. Being stuck in a unwanted, alien body while being consistently demonized by members of the public and your own family and friends based will do that to you.

I appreciate that, though the matter of ‘gender’ is very questionable if you consider empirical science rather than what various ‘social scientists’ e.g. in the field of comparative literature (the pioneer of the ‘gender’ idea) like to think—unfortunately, many widely accepted concepts are not really supported by evidence these days. I don't want to go in depth and challenge your opinions, but you might find for example this article enriching.

In any case, regardless of what we believe in and what the objective truth is, I find it's usually best to tune out and not let yourself be concerned with people who are just plain rude and try to wind you up. And it's rare to be transgendered. Transgendered people make up 1% of the population. Not as rare as those with these sex chromosome anomalies, yes, but this is all besides the point I was making by bringing it up.

It is not the same thing as gender dysphoria.

And I never claimed it to be. What I said was that the binary definition of what constitutes "male" and "female" you yourself used isn't necessarily correct on a sheer medical scale, and used that as an example. This distinction has repercussions on gender discussions, and that's why I brought it up.

I'm curious, who are you referring to when you say "you", exactly, if not me? Also, the distinction was made by medical, psychological, and social science professionals during the mid to late 20th century, and before then was rarely used when discussing biological sex in humans. Feminists did push for the distinction, but it was those professionals who agreed to adopt it to distinguish between social aspects of male - female differences from biological ones. In other words, they agreed the distinction was necessary. The definitions of words change overtime as society adapts them to different uses. That's a fact of linguistics. "Faggot" once meant "a bundle of sticks". Now it's a pejorative. That's how language works.

That's conjecture, and frankly nonsensical. Assuming it even would make them "popular on Twitter"; which considering transgender support still isn't "mainstream" with the general populace is questionable, who would be benefiting from this and how?

You mention that MAYBE drugs that have not been tested or explored yet and were rushed out to beat a popularity contest and publicity campaign to be the most "woke" may have some side effect of lessoning his sex drive.

These are pharmaceuticals that have been on the market for decades for the treatment of hormone dysfunctions, and the way they interact with the body is and has been well known. They weren't created for a "popularity contest" or to appear "woke", and claiming so shows both your lack of knowledge on the subject and your attempt to push a false narrative. I refrained from using definite language because biological males on HRT don't always experience a complete lowering of their sex drives, although many do. Enough for it to be reasonably expected that this individual would experience the same.

Which means zero since none of his crimes were about any physical or biologically compelled need fueled from his sex drive.

Based off... what? While psychology is a big component on why people like this commit these kinds of crimes, it's a leap to assume that that's the only component for why someone does this. Inhibiting one's sex drive inhibits one's desires to engage in sexual activity, and while that doesn't guarantee that this person won't recommit, it does increase the likelihood that they won't.

And that would be if someone were going to his house and forcing him to take them. Which they wont be.

Okay? Does that mean they'll necessarily won't take them of their own accord? Sure, it's possible, but it's also possible that any person released from incarceration will fail to rehabilitate and/or fake rehabilitate and then recommit. Without evidence towards the likelihood of them not being rehabilitated, it's unfair to assume they are being disingenuous. Besides, how do we not know that their parole officer is monitoring this individual's drug intake as part of their parole? Or consulting with the individual's doctor to monitor their transition? Considering this person transitioning was a notable factor for their early release, I imagine ensuring they are following through with it would be deemed important.

He saw a thing he could exploit, and did so. He isnt transgender and he isnt interested in taking those drugs. Most importantly, he won't because of who he is a person.

Sure, that's possible. It would be a ridiculous amount of effort to go through, considering the health effects the individual will experience. But it is possible that this person is full of shit and doing it to push the decision for early release marginally further past the point of consideration and into action. What proof do we have of it, though, beyond assumptions and conjecture? If this person transitioning ends up being proven a falsehood and they recommit, then feel free to blast the naysayers to shit. Until then, I'm going to continue to give the benefit of the doubt as an impartial third-party.

You have the ability to save lives and chose not to. You go further than inaction and decide to enable and encourage it.

Considering how I literally have no say in what the justice department as a whole is doing at any one moment, I find this claim extremely dubious. It's not like me stating my arguments on Reddit is somehow analogous to voting for legislation. Us arguing on the internet has little affect on law, short of enacting some kind of protest or petition.

Secondly, it's telling that the argument has shifted away from the individual in question and towards placing blame on me. Assumably because you ran out of good talking points.

Because now theres a thousand in line waiting to rape and know this precedent has been set by a judicial system and through public support by people like you.

I imagine it's very difficult to gauge the opinions of the general public and "precedence" from fucking prison. What precedence has been set here? Again, the person was already well on track for early release after serving 8 years of a 10 year sentence. If the precedence being set is that "commiting 'good behavior' in the eyes of the Justice system helps with early release", than we're decades too late with that one.

Truth of the matter is, if it was any other activity than transitioning that pushed the Justice system over that arbitrary line for early release, then this wouldn't have been a news story, and no one would care. Because guess what? Statistically, there have been many, many other people in the past who got released early for lousier reasons than this one. Not transitioning wasn't stopping them, it's not some kind of "requirement" for early release. It was the system deciding that, for several reasons including that this person was transitioning, that they were fit for early release. They didn't just go "Oh, he's trans now? Let 'em go, boys, she's wiped clean of all crimes!" one day out of the blue.

So why would they hold back knowing their is no repercussions? Or at least an easy way out of them.

What makes you think that there are no repercussions, or that this is "an easy way out"? The Justice system doesn't just release people and then move on and ignore them. They have to go on parole, and will face extensive repercussions under it, especially considering the crimes of this individual. I reasonably expect that they're not just gonna wipe their hands of this.

Fact is you're once again strawmanning me to appeal to emotion because you don't have any good arguments here. I take sex crimes very seriously, I personally know people who were victims of them. It's not something I take lightly. But beyond that I am a firm believer in impartiality when it comes to the Justice system. I'm giving this person the benefit of the doubt, regardless of their crime, because we have no evidence to indicate they are being intentionally disingenuous. They served almost their complete sentence. They were already on track to leave early. They had no reasonable expectation that transitioning would somehow let them out earlier. But they did it regardless, at personal and physical expense.

Maybe this person is being deceitful. Maybe they are going through unnecessary effort to get out slightly sooner. It's possible. But until there is concrete evidence of such, we can't make any claims of what they or anyone else will now do.
