There are videos of the attack, and she was found with the DNA of four different men in her. She retracted her statement after being interrogated for 9 hours without a lawyer. This is terrible journalism covering a terrible miscarriage of justice. Read into the case before believing one article.

Quality news coverage of this trial has been badly deficient and it is difficult to figure out the facts of the case.

That she retracted her allegations and signed a confession that she made it all up after several hours in police custody without a lawyer, then once away from the police insisted again on her original story, should ring alarm bells. People in traumatic situations get bullied into saying things by police all the time.

But then there is the claim, which I've seen from several online commenters, that there is a leaked video that shows her looking pretty happy during the event. Surely that video is crucial to the case, but it is barely discussed in any depth in that article. What specifically does it show?

It is also possible that a person consents to sex with one or even multiple people, then all their friends barge into the room and what was consensual sex becomes a gang rape.

I would like to know what really happened here, instead of the verdict just being interpreted through the lens of "bitches make shit up" or "the patriarchy wins again". Some people are raped and not believed, and some people make false rape claims, but the vague reporting makes it difficult to know which this is.
