While it's great that this guy got justice... the down side is that his payout is coming out of the pockets of the tax payers and not the people who did him wrong. These people should be charged and forced to compensate the state for the loss.

Non-existent? Providing this is the same paedo ring that took down quite a lot of famous people in the UK, i'm not so sure you can make the claim that it's non-existent.
