Crosspost "Finally healing" from /r/Divorce:

I met someone who is showing me what I really deserve. No one deserves what my ex wife did to me. And finally, I am ready to see it. I don't deserve years of lies, months of emotional and sexual abuse and being used as nothing more than a "safe dick" when she knew I was sexually assaulted at a young age, I don't deserve to have her send nudes to another man, say his name in our bed on my birthday, tell me how she only wants us to work out because he didn't want her, tell me how worthless I am to her, tell me to kill myself, and everything else she did breaking me daily. And I still have all the proof, screenshots and recording of her telling me all this (minus the kill yourself part).

Truth be told I still love her, but finally I am seeing my worth and what I really deserve is actual happiness with someone that treats me like I matter. The one thing I was always in love with is how she treated people. Now, I have seen not only how she treats me, but others in the last month and a half. She became a plastic, popular, wants attention, but I see it now. We deserve betters as human beings. This new woman and I may not work out, but at the end of the day, I deserve real happiness and understanding and basic human decency and so does everyone else.
