It stays free — no paywall, no account — for the next man who comes looking, the way it was free for you.

Gee I wonder why. It can’t be because we live in a culture where men are constantly told that their biological programming is wrong. I wonder what it could be...

Well it is that, but as someone in healthcare, I can say confidently that a LOT of the food we eat has some form of estrogen or estrogen carbon copy.

Basically, men today are constantly being poisoned by their food, and it is really difficult to counteract it.

My advise is to avoid soy in all forms and palm/hydrogenated oils. Also try to avoid unsaturated fats and high sugar-content food.

Most importantly, eat cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts) especially in the evening (which is the peak of estrogen and the lowest point of testosterone) and get enough sleep. These will help reduce estrogen and regulate testosterone.

But yes, what you said is also correct.

THIISSSSS

Is insane how many foods and things nowadays raise estrogen levels. Soy, Alcohol, Sugar, Plastics and many more...

I knew soy was an issue but I didn’t know there was THAT much... dang. Thanks man, it helped a lot.

I am going to go down a really weird direction but doesn’t masturbation decrease testosterone too? I heard that can be the case too.

Answer: No.

Yeah I should have mentioned short term but thank you!

While you talk about nutrition and phytoestrogens:

I‘m wondering how much of it is just the obesity epidemic. Being overweight is known to cause lower testosterone. So when large groups of the population turn overweight, I‘d expect this to reflect onto the average testosterone level.
