I had to read this a couple times - it was so poorly written. Not that it matters, but it isn't clear what the genders of the actors are. Regardless, what you did sounds over reactive, and it lead to unnecessary embarrassment and humiliation on the part of the person giving hugs.

You are far more sensitive about contact than most persons. So much so that your experience just is kind of in a different universe than most folks. Most people giving or receiving hugs are happy to do so. You may need to put yourself in their head and understand that they probably did not mean harm, but instead were sharing something positive. It is a gift.

Sometimes when you receive a gift you don't really want, it is a good idea to say thanks even when you want to run away. A useful social lie. If this bother you enough, I'd suggest you talk to a professional. Despite Metoo and all that crap, people are huggy and generally mean well and this issue for you won't go away on it's own.

I'm not a big fan of hugs from guys but I try to just roll with it since ultimately it is a piece of goodwill.
