I’m going through a really tough time right now where my ex fiancé has given birth to my son and has not had contact with me since April when we broke up. I’ve tried contacting her sparingly for updates, however, I am met with aggression. The last time she responded to me was in May, over one month since my last time trying to contact her. I simply asked how our baby was doing and asking for update, ultrasound, and gender info. She replies with the claim that she contacted the police who informed her it’s not in her best interest to press charges (which I highly doubt because of how laughable that situation is). Needless to say, my son was most likely born this past week, I have not seen him. I don’t know his name. I’m broken hearted.

Whenever anybody becomes aware of the situation I get hit with the one line.

“What did you do to her?”

Why does it have to be what I did to her???

Isn’t it enough that she’s obviously batshit crazy? Say and do what you want to me or about me, but don’t use our child as a pawn.

Just another way society always expects the worse from us men.

I have filed court papers and our initial hearing is next week to confirm paternity and then I fight for custody of my son. It’s an arduous task, but one I’ll give every ounce of my being towards.
