I often see posts on this subreddit, whether it be news or personal stories, of men who simply want to fight for what they think is right, being wrongfully attacked by society, physically and emotionally. I hoped I’d never have to post a personal story but hope can’t hold back evil from happening.
This story isn’t about me but instead my best friend who we will name X, he is only 17. We’ve been friends for almost 2 years now and I can’t count the times he has kept me going in this woeful world.
This all started about 2 weeks ago. Before this all went down, he was actually a feminist (nothing wrong with that as long you’re not hurting anyone). He had actually been asked by a teacher of his to write a speech in defense of women, he did so and he did it extremely well as he actually made it onto national television. Despite my differences with him on this topic, I supported him the whole way and was happy that he succeeded.
Fast forward about a day or two and he had left the country to go to a celebrity’s meetup. During this week while he was overseas, a girl in his country was raped and killed. This sparked very large feminist protests around the country demanding for the stop of the rampant rape in the country. From this, the Alt left managed to fuel a new idea, the idea of female biological, mental and physical superiority over every male on earth and that women deserved more rights than men.
This idea quickly gained a worrying amount of followers as people from the normal left who were upset or angry with the rape of this girl quickly embraced these ideals.
After one week, X returned to his country, where upon his arrival discovered what had happened and about these now common ideals. X always fights for what he believes is right, not for any personal gain or such so when he heard about this ridiculous idea that women were superior to men, he quickly joined the opposing side which simply denied any superiority or any gender over the other but instead pushed for true equality, a brave and noble yet dangerous choice.
X was approached by one of his male teachers who challenged female superiority and requested that X write a speech in defense of the men. He did so and he did so humbly and peacefully, even starting his speech with, “I am disappointed at how some women have reacted to this situation...” This speech proved to be the catalyst for his future troubles.
The afternoon after his speech, he had already been labeled by dozens of people as sexist, when he asked why he was sexist they replied to him saying that he was sexist because he did not admit that women are superior.
While X was in London, a female teacher of his had lost her job due to her trying to spread this disgusting ideology among the kids, which one of them recorded and uploaded it to social media resulting in her losing her job. However, the person that had recorded the video wasn’t at fault, no no no, she believed it was X who wasn’t even in the country at the time and she wanted to get her revenge. We will call her K.
Soon after being labeled a sexist, he had already received 3 death threats, one from a girl, one from a guy on behalf of his girlfriend and lastly from K.
That was yesterday, today he was jumped twice on his way home from school. The first group of guys tried to intimidate him saying that he had stop saying all that stuff or they’d beat him, to which, valiantly, X challenged them to fight, they soon backed down.
Unfortunately, the second group wasn’t so forgiving, they run up to X, separates him from his group of friends who he had been walking with and began severely beating him. X took the beating despite knowing how dangerous it is for him as he has memory loss which could be worsened with blunt force trauma. Once they deemed they had beat him enough, they got up and began walking away.
What they didn’t take into consideration is that X was no stranger to fighting but is actually a very good fighter. He soon picked himself up, bleeding and badly bruised, and shouted at his attackers to gain their attention, he then proceeded to give them the beatings of their lives.
Still bleeding, He reported the incidents to his principal as all kids from both groups went to his school.
Later as we spoke on Discord about the events, he was contacted by one of the parents of the children who had attacked him. Obviously, that waste of space told his parents that actually X had attacked them first. X soon told the parents that in fact they had attacked him first and referred them to 3 witnesses who had watched the incident. One of the boys soon owner up to his deed yet not ratting out his accomplice but the other one, the son of said parents continues to hold his lie, they now want to take X to court.
X also had found out that these two boys had actually been payed very handsomely by K to beat X up.
He has now also been banned by the town to attend any local events and his own prom.
He is due to soon give another speech and his principal has had to hire bodyguards to protect X.
This is what happens to good people in today’s society when they stand their ground and fight for what they believe in. This is eerily similar to the german Brownshirts in the late 20s, who the Nazi party used to intimidate or outright kill any who thought differently than them.
Something that is also not spoken about either is the effect that events like this has on the people who are close to the victim. I love X tons and he’s a friend I could never replace but seeing him be falsely accused and attacked, barred from basic things he was able to do before and unwillingly brought into this mess leaves me with feelings or dread and sadness that not even a broken heart could come close to.
This last part is for you X, as you’re probably going to read this. I will be right next to you during this entire ordeal, you’re like a brother to me and I won’t leave you to fight them alone.
