Incredible she will be charged with murder and not infanticide. DNA is amazing. Another sad case of the father never knowing of his child’s existence, so I wonder if this can be used to prevent situations of the father only finding out he had a child 5 or 20 years after the fact.

Imagine being this woman and deciding that the legal baby murder isn't fun enough

I've been wondering about this use of DNA testing, since they revealed that they used it to find the Golden State killer. Obviously, the testing they had been using all of these years also had that ability, to find relatives of the person that committed a crime. So there are undoubtedly hundreds of thousands of rapists that could easily be found that way. They just didn't bother using the results to find them, even though it would be easy. Seems to beg the question, why they don't want to find all those dangerous criminals.
