Dr Rick Bradford looks at A-level* results for boys/girls which, as in '20 & '21, didn't simply depend on exam results with some element of teacher assessment. For '20-'22, girls fared a lot better than when exam results only were used. The regulator has buried this bias. *Final UK high school exams

Study finds that "manuscripts written by women as solo authors or coauthored by women were treated even more favorably by referees and editors" yet gets reported with the heading "no gender bias". Gender bias against men doesn't seem to count as gender bias!

Judge dismisses case against man for sending birthday card to daughter. Dismissing the charge brought under the Domestic Violence Act against the man, the judge stated:“I mean, if we have reached a stage in our society where a man is deemed to have breached a safety order by sending a birthday card"

Following a petition, Winchester University cancelled a talk with two men's rights activists in 2019. Here is the text of one of the talks (by William Collins) that were planned. It covers education, suffrage and coverture. It's disappointing that such views can't be expressed in such a forum.

95% of strip searches of children reported in England & Wales are of boys. This may or may not be an issue but I found it interesting that it was considered unfair that black children were more likely to be strip-searched but this huge gender disparity was barely mentioned in lots of media coverage.

Schools measure how much kids are girl-like. Of course girls will get better grades.

Girls don't get better grades where it matters, that is STEM.

“I have a GCSE\ maths teacher friend. She’s very nice and I’m sure not militant. However, she let slip in the summer of 2020 how pleased she was to see that the girls she had taught that year got what they “deserved”.*

It’s maths.

You get what you deserve by answering the questions correctly, but what I think she meant was, hard working nice girls that she had enjoyed teaching, she was able to give high marks to.”

*GCSEs are exams at an earlier stage in the UK school system done at around the age of 16 usually.

Graduated high-school I 21, from the UK.

I can confirm my grades were significantly lower than what I was getting on test papers at the time.

I can also say, the classes I got the lowest grades in were the ones with the teachers that disliked me.

Same thing happened to nearly all of my friends.

"Conclusion: The poorer A Level awards to boys compared with girls, which have been worsening for decades, has been further exacerbated by basing these awards on teachers’ assessments in 2020 and 2021, and this bias has persisted in 2022 probably due to the use of the “2019-2021 mid-point” grade boundaries. As a result boys have faired comparatively less well in 2022 than in the last exam year, 2019. The Department for Education steadfastly refuses to acknowledge that there is bias inherent in these recent awards despite the matter being statistically unambiguous."

No shit Sherlock I literally had a 97% average for tests and homework for math. Aaand I got an 81 or a B-. Huh I wonder why? Why did every single girl in my class(despite me being a complete Asian nerd) get a better grade than me? I wonder why?

From his analysis of the 2021 results:
“There is more to honesty than merely never being untruthful. Here’s an example of a honest depiction of what has happened: the excess of top A/A\ grades awarded to girls over boys (in 2021) has nearly tripled since the last exam year, 2019.”*
