I (24F) has been dating my boyfriend (27M) for about 2 months. It is my first relationship and I have been figuring some things out about myself the hard way. For example my proclivity to shut him out (eg cold shoulder) if he rejects my affections. I am extremely physical, and I am feeling like he is rejecting my touches or affection because it might be too much for him. I feel like I need to be touching him all the time and can’t keep off him. This does bug him and he brushes me off frequently.

I am considering giving him some space (physically at least) to try and get him wanting me a little more, so my affections are treasured due to a lack of abundance. But with my past of giving the cold shoulder— I don’t want him to think I’m shutting him out or regressing in our relationship. And I don’t want to set a lack of physical affection as the new norm in our relationship either.

How would a feminine woman go about this? Can a feminine woman be too accessible?

I have discussed with him in the past about wanting more affection and since we have only been dating for a few months, I feel like to bring it up again might be boarding on nagging, especially if he is not too keen on physical affection.

Thank you so much and any advice is so appreciated
