Nearly a decade ago I saw 500 Days of Summer and I still remember one quote from there: "Either she's an evil, emotionless, miserable human being, or... she's a robot". That's pretty much my limited experience with women. You think your cute nice bubbly or shy girl is different, but even she will stab you in the back and throw you away like a dirty sock if Chad comes along.

Meanwhile she'll act like nothing's wrong for months until you find out (why does she even bother with the charade?). And when you do find out, she'll just ghost you without as much as saying "sorry". You'd like to believe she went silent out of deep shame or guilt, but deep down you know she doesn't give a fuck what you think about her cheating and lying. Just like a scorpion won't ever be sorry and apologize for stinging you. But still I'd like to think women have more emotional capacity than scorpions.

Edit: Just rewatched 500 days, there was absolutely no reason for Summer to lead Tom on and invite him to her party without mentioning she has a fucking fiancé. As if she was so autistic she didn't expect Tom to rage. As if saying "oh by the way I'm getting married next week" would be too much trouble. That's my situation, that missing "oh by the way, I moved in with my bf 3 months ago" while she knows you want her and she doesn't want you anymore. Like what the fuck do they expect when you find out? "Oh that's cool you have a new bf you never mentioned, we'll just go back to being friends then."
