i don´t think facial hair would compensate for a bad underdevelopped jawline, it could cast some shadow over the lower third of the face giving it a more angular look, but it´ll never come close to the aesthetics of a defined and angular jawline.

I'm saving up for a hair transplant currently. I guess for some dudes the pain and suffering is worth it for a better face and I don't blame them (with jaw surgery I mean)

Lots of reasons, but the bottom line is the cost/benefit ratio isn't there... for me.

I've only rarely been rejected by a woman I was interested in just because I was thinning/balding. It's not that severe for me though.
Anecdotally I see a lot of men who are either balding or are completely bald with attractive women all of the time, this matches up with my own personal experience.
Bald men are often viewed as more masculine.
Statistically more than half of men will experience male pattern baldness in their lifetime, it's very common.
I'm getting older so it just seems natural? Graceful aging is important to me.
Doing it "right" (getting a transplant) requires almost a full year of recovery time before it looks normal, and it looks really fucking weird for the first 4 months.
It also requires a commitment to using hair loss prevention products (finasteride, monoxidil) to prevent the hair behind the transplants from continuing to recede (creating a weird gap look).
I see a lot of examples of guys who get hair transplants that look unnatural and/or absurd where the hair looks so thin you can see their scalp anyway.

Men who allow themselves to become self-conscious about literally anything initiate a negative feedback loop that exudes insecurity. It can be about height, face, dick size... basically anything you can think of. If you interact with women and your default state (frame) is a projection of insecurity, you have already almost completely eliminated any chance of success. As you accumulate failures it reinforces the insecurity, so you begin to "convince yourself" that your failures are because of whatever your insecurity is. Blackpill has always been psychological quicksand, and wallowing in your own misery isn't a productive use of your time.

You have to be on finasteride the rest of your life after a hair transplant and I wasn’t getting laid even when I had hair so what does it matter?
