What are y'all's thoughts on WhatifAlthist view of a possible right wing backlash

The backlash is already present in voting patterns and in what cultural material is successful financially. There are no better recruiters for the alt right than left wing twitter feminists. The only thing we are doing now is waiting for someone to say the quiet part out loud.

Left and Right, Red or Blue, they're just two sides of the same misandry coin.

Which is why they call it the "alt" right. They know it's not "left", because they argue with the orthodoxy and so must not be leftist. They know it's not "right" because most of them believe in leftist things like a just society, true diversity (not the 100% minority or women makes something 100% "diverse" bullshit), and many other social issues that the right doesn't care about.

All of this bleating from the political sphere sounds an awful lot like the driver of a cart crying that their reigns aren't working properly after the mule threw them on the ground.
