So I’ve been dating this girl for around 6 months, we’ve grown quite close, see eachother maybe 6-7 times a week even if it’s for a hour, we’re always talking and always on the phone for hours, so it’s getting quite serious now but she wants me to wait for sex, I’ve tried on multiple occasions to initiate it but she always refuses and says that the timing is wrong, she’s had people in the past that have broken her trust and left her in a vulnerable position which is the only explanation I can think of, therefore I’m trying to respect her boundaries and not push for it. She’s built quite a big barrier which has taken me a while to get past and make her see that I don’t only want her for one thing and that I actually care about her. What should I say to her? She is saying that she will have sex eventually but she wants it to be perfect. I don’t want to loose her so no “just get rid of her” advice please. What can I say to her so she can see that I’ve got needs as well.
