My and my brother both go the same university. I have been here a year longer than him and I switched to the same major that he is in so we are both sophomores now.

I have been working on my social skills by joining clubs (rock climbing, ultimate frisbee, dance lessons). I'm eager to join the Hispanic club they have a callout meeting next week. Since my brother is already in the organization, the issue I'm foreseeing is my brother getting mad at me for 'following' him for lack of a better word.

I think he will get annoyed if I go to the same clubs as him and try to make friends and introduce myself to new girls.

Are my worries unfounded? Or am I retarded for even seeing this an issue?
