I'm in my second year of uni, and I am really enjoying it, bar one thing. I'm part of a judo club that is being coached by another student who is in fourth year. For one reason or another this guy constantly gives me shit and tries to embarass me in front of everyone at every opportunity. I've found the whole coach dynamic makes it a lot more difficult to deal with. What makes the situation actually bother me is that instead of getting that value gain from the inside the sport club (I'm brown belt, 6'0 and in shape), I'm seen as a beta by all the girls. I've been doing the sport for 7 years and I enjoy the nights out so I don't want to quit. Also reporting him would be bad practice for if I ever have to deal with similar situations in the future. I'm not sure what the best way to go about this is and I am looking for any advice on what to do.
tl;dr Advice on dealing with bullies
Edit: He is far better than me at judo and this isn't Karate Kid where I can train one month to make up for years of difference, beat him once and get him to respect me.
Also, everyone else in the club is an easier target than me.
