First time post. I should have listened to everyone here about lawyering up early and not being the “nice guy” and acquiescing to her requests (separation, agreeing to leave the house during the separation, etc.). Admittedly, I was also influenced by a Pastor who essentially coached me to acquiesce to everything she asked and have the pastor serve as a “neutral” party, but he is not equipped to handle these conversations.

I was in full agreement to split everything 50/50, but now she is talking about alimony and I do not want to be tied to her in that fashion after divorce.
