I'm a russian guy, 23, was fresh out of military, when war started. By cosmic luck, I was in Europe, when mobilisation was announced and I filed for political asylum.

My past friends from my service year, probably many of them dead. I had two close friends, one died in October, another isn't yet mobilized.

For me, it wouldn't be a choice. I would die or be thrown in prison before I step into another country armed. For others, choice between their lives or lifes of others is a tough choice.

War is war bad pointless, and as man, you only have one choice, and it is a fight for your country either it is justified case or not

Disgusting. Still kind of surprised Ukrainian and Russian men haven't turned on their own male hostile governments trying to conscript them and use them as meat shields and weapons to kill other men like it happened several times throughout history. This rot should be taken out from within. Right from the core.

How does the international community not condemn conscription of men or extrajudicial killings from one's own country for trying to save one's own life?

The term is "cowardice". Countries like Ukraine are seen as justified, especially because Russia attacked Ukraine.

Wars have been fought over resources (access to the Black Sea) and will continue to be fought over resources until there are no more people.

Most men are mere pawns when it comes to the ambitions of autocratic leaders like Putin and Zelensky.
