If a man complains about only getting unnattractive obese women, he is immediately crucified. He is told he should be happy anyone likes him cause he sounds like a shallow asshole. He is told he's probably not as attractive as he thinks he is and he needs to bring his ego down a notch. He's told he may try giving some of these women a chance.
When a woman does it though, she is totally justified in her criticism and these men need to know their lane. She can say only creepy and ugly guys hit on her. Everyone will say things like she may have the misfortune of living in an area where mostly ugly guys are and she may need to go to a different place. They will say that everyone wants an attractive women so maybe that's why these guys hit on her. All these things but never anything about how she may need to adjust her expectations if these are the only guys that hit on her. She is never told how shallow she is and the mockery of these men is accepted as they are viewed as less than human.

Typical response worthy of tar and feathering

What I can't tolerate and why I'm not contesting being banned from that sub is the guys like the one that comes in ..
"People don't talk like that my man"
....
Women don't complain about broke men? Short men? Men who don't "do the bare minimum" (aka fly them to Dubai and poop on them).
Like really? Mr. Civil. Mr. Get out of the basement incel, women don't talk like that? That's what you're saying?
Why the fuck are you saying that? Do you believe it? Like REALLY.
But you spend hours , you're really not arguing with living beings on these subs like that's not something a sentient creature or faithful actor says. If they haven't noticed this by now or refuse to acknowledge it... Either way they have to be brain damaged right? So what's the point.

It's exhausting. Only thing I can think of is that that guy from the first quote, for example, it's an adaptation: this is the reality so might as well convince oneself how much they love it and how great it is rather than fully reckon with the situation. Most people are so weak and stupid that they lack any better way to cope. Acknowledging the reality and its implications would make their little heads implode like a supernova, so this mediocre, meager capitulation is the only way they can get through the day.

truth or not, you shouldnt get into that wagon anyways, bitching and complaining about bad women is just going to hurt your quality of life overall, you should just focus on the women you like and ignore bad women

Reading through some of the responses, I feel like the unsaid part here is that men can't complain because it's still commonly assumed that men are performing the mating dance and women are simply tasked with choosing to be receptive or not, the former of which is understood as a skill, and the latter of which is understood as a very morally uncomplicated position to be in.
Really, this whole belief structure is a type of essentialism (usually of biological origin when questioned) that just plain isn't necessary.
There used to be a tradition in some parts of the US (maybe it still is in places) called a Sadie Hawkins dance, where a big part of the tradition is that women ask the men to dance, not the other way around. I suppose they turned out to not be too popular, but they had their heyday. Do you think that the nature of men's and women's complaints about each other would be the same under the conditions of a Sadie Hawkins dance? Of course not, they would reverse.
There's a real lack of questioning going on in that thread - it's strange to me that these conversations keep going on, and yet people seem so incurious about why these same conversations have to keep happening. Sorry for the rant, but this is a bit of a bee in my bonnet.
