I'm 5'10" and 135 lbs (~60kg). That's skinny! I have however very toned and muscular body, and no, it's not my rib cage showing. I work out and my lifestyle is very active which is why I have very little fat in my body, leaving me with a well shaped body. All that is of no use because I'm not big by any means. Living in North america, I look like a kid compared to my friends, despite living a much more healthy lifestyle than them. Most clothes don't suit me. My ex pointed me being skinny as one of the reasons for the breakup.

All that frustration leads me to two questions:

(1) TRP talks a lot about lifting and I agree that being muscular automatically gets you attention. I, myself have been working out regularly for last 6 months and I have only gained 3-4 kgs (10 lbs). My breakup 4 months ago led me to pursue girls on tinder and in real life, but I feel like I can't do much without muscles. Do you think there is hope/game without muscles? Or at least until I am muscular, because clearly, being skinny my entire life, it's proving to be a very slow process for me to put on any weight. (I'm doing alright on tinder with what I have, but I'm not getting the alpha chicks and I feel like muscles are mandatory for that?)

(2) Secondly, how the fuck do I gain weight? I don't mind putting on fat at this point. I did Jim Stoppani's 'shortcut to size' program twice and about to end it this week. I'm in the lookout for a detailed workout plan I can try next. Although, my diet may be an issue because I'm having trouble eating more than 3000 calories everyday being a student and all.
