Because men don't have in-group bias. We don't feel obligation to protect bad men just because we and them have gender in common. Attack against one is attack against all tribal mentality stems from in-group bias.

Darned right. No one is above the law. I see cops speeding all the time. In fact yesterday I had a cop come speeding up behind me and stayed there. I'm pro cop but I honestly believe this tactic is to cause panic and mistake to pull you over. It didn't work. And then The guy goes around me while doing 7mph over the posted speed limit. Had he pulled me over, I would've asked why and where and then pointed out to old him he sped up on me before the alleged offense occurred so should I give you a ticket first?
