Women get away with whatever they want. From hurting men to even this gf who stabbed het bf and got away with it because she was drunk and or sad. To women having sex with 15 year old male students and not getting sent to jail quite enough and even being able to cash in child support from the child's parents after birthing his child. Women serve 60% less jail sentence for same crimes in same circumstances. Women who lie about rape (fake rape charges have increased 3x since the MeToo movement) don't even get punished or not nearly enough for destroying someone's life. Women initiate 70% or domestic violence abuse and lesbian couples have the highest abuse rate of any other relationship. Women are more likely to abuse children and its not even close, yet a man who wants to do a job taking care of children is being seen as weird or possibly pedo.

I am sick and tired of how men are being treated in this society. The women on the view were reading about a man who got his penis caught off and strated cackling and laughing their asses off on national tv and nobody says shit. Can you imagine me talking about cutting up my gf's pussy or removing her tits after I found out she's cheating and all of my homies laughing in national tv?

OP must differ certain things. First of all, a single violent case if one case to many, but also there's a reason why police and penalties exist, because people broke the law and did horrible things even before an organized civil society existed.

With that in mind, I don't think that any of those specific penis-cutting cases make up the reality of an average guy out there, that it's likely to happen. It might happen to someone in a city of 100,000 this year, but it's NOT your common threat when you go out on a date or when you wake up in the morning next to your GF. I'm sure there's much more cases that weren't in the news, but that still doesn't top the list of common threats.

However, real issue that I find in the article is how likely it is for courts to sentence the guilty party to "obligatory counseling sessions" or conclude that the person was insane and could not be held accountable for such actions. This is part of a more broad and far more common legal system practice which routinely absolves women from responsibility even when the case is very clear and even when premeditation is easy to prove.
