Some days i'll be depressed for no reason. I hit the gym 5 days a week, I improved my wardrobe, changed my hairstyle which ive gotten compliments on, and finally fixed my teeth. I'm starting to get more and more dates. However despite all this i'll be depressed.

I have a habit of reading every night before I go to bed. I'll be depressed and then when I start reading I'll feel instantly better. Right now I'm reading TRM again after completing Book of Pook, how to be a 3% man, and Models. For some reason reading reduces my depression and I get this sudden boost of confidence. Anyone explain why? Reading just makes me feel good about myself.
