I wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for the advice i received in this group (last October) when I was needing help when my husband left me for a little bit. I had to self reflect on what I was doing to contribute to our marriage crumbling.
Our marriage has done a 180°. I have learned to be a better wife, person, and mother, I have fixed my attachment style, and I have practiced self care and respect.
These lessons were not easy to learn. Seeing myself objectively was very hard to do, but I had to go deep to be able to change. I have learned to embrace my feminine and let go of all the control I was addicted to.
My husband now regularly asks me on dates, tells me how much he loves me every morning and every night. He helps me in house work without me even asking. And our sex life is so much better and more frequent, and he is so much more protective and involved.
I had to stick it out long enough for him to embrace his masculine. Even his anxiety has subsided substantially and I’m wondering if it’s from him taking back control in his life.
I can not thank this group enough, it wasn’t easy, but was definitely worth it. You all changed my life for the better and helped save my marriage.
P.S. On Mother’s Day he bought me a very expensive beautiful ring. And we just celebrated our 13th anniversary. It’s been so wonderful.
