My baby's mother has kept my children for 6 months basically no contact with my children showed up at my house and left our 2 kids the details I'm sure don't matter long story short the past 6months i have called DCFS, welfare checks, the whole nine in the meantime I've been trying to save up for a lawyer well she recently contacted me on a Thursday n Friday I was under the assumption I was getting my son for the weekend she showed up intoxicated I also have a daughter 16mnths old so I told her she wasn't driving back with my daughter intoxicated or I would call the cops well she ended up staying the night and continued drinking in which she started telling me what she has been doing the entire 6mnths when I had no contact.come to find out she has been doing insurance fraud getting high having stuff sent through mail and hanging out with people who are a danger not only to themselves but also my children she ended up basically leaving me both my children but my daughter I don't have DNA nor did I sign her birth certicate the mother has sent me a picture of the SS card and birth certificate but at this point is basically unstable I am going to pursue this lawyer n get consolation tommorrow but with everything going on with no assistance idk where to even start no excuse but I just recently got into my place money hasn't been the best n I really have no support Just food for thought if a mother drops off there kid because they have ignored there child's safety due to mental depression drugs or financial reason or let's say criminal why is it biased against a father who's sole intention is to care for the children any advice would be appreciated typing isn't the best but the past 2 days has been defeating n I have faith that it will all work out for the best but my job as a father is to make sure the safety of my kids is priority
