Hey guys, just wanted to share this here to hopefully be able to help someone avoid what I went through. TL/DR, I was the beta bux in an alpha fucks beta bux scenario.

A bit of background about me, I read The Game in 2006 and entering the world of PUA basically gradually got me out of 26 years of virginity (I chased a girl all through my teenage years ie, literally since I was 13 and she ended up marrying someone in university, and I was depressed about it all through my 5+ years of university). However, I never achieved the success that many salespeople promoting PUA did. The number of women I've slept with is around 30. However, many were very short term, like ONS or at most one or two week stints, mostly due to me losing interest after sleeping with them, and then when I want them back again they don't want me anymore.

For the past few years it's becoming more difficult to game due to my aging looks. Personality wise and conversation wise I haven't changed, the topics I talk about the same, my interests are the same, but the girls I meet whether from hitting on them on the streets or through online dating are not showing the enthusiastic interest as they once were when I was younger.

One girl I hit on I decided I should settle down with since my gaming is failing and she seemed to say all the right things. But she would always have work and traveling for work excuses to not meet up. But I supported her financially for three years to basically supplement her income because she wasn't making much due to being an arts graduate. For some reason despite almost 20 years of reading PUA and TRP material, I thought providing for her would show that I was serious about us. I basically found her alternative social media account recently and she's obviously been dating another guy, tall and muscular (I'm short and thin) and it seems they go on a lot of road trips together.

There's nothing unique or revelatory about my story. I just thought I'd share it in case anyone is doing the same thing as me and financially supporting a woman because you care about her wellbeing, hopefully this can make you think carefully about whether or not you can bear the risk (emotionally) and get back on your feet if it all ends up being a lie. It's easy for their words of comfort like telling you they love you and miss you and even if they hug and kiss you to make you believe in a dream.
