the man had apparently been subjected to all kinds of physical aggression, such as being punched and slapped in the face, scratched and bitten. He had also suffered different types of threats and derogatory and hurtful comments

Dear men, if you ever come across any woman who mistreats you in any possible way, leave her as soon as possible! If a woman thinks it is justified to slap or hit a man, it is the clearest indication that she isn't for you or for anyone. You can't just be tolerating someone abusive in the name of love.

And about the incident, it is beyond horrible. See how the article doesn't even call it an assault! We need to spread awareness about this before any more people become victims of such heinous crimes again.
