Wait to take the medication til after the mediation.

Show up to mediation skeptical, calm, knowing what you want outta the thing.

My mediation was a joke which was cool bc I demanded the freeish garnteed-neutral public mediator.

It was mainly bad for me bc I allowed the insane valuation attempts my ex made in mediation to smokeshow me before trial.

It’s all just a big clump of waste you have to pass.

My GF fed and hydrated and loved on me well prior and after.

But I still walked away just feeling….uncaring milked for my ducats. It is not a great feeling. Esp when your shitty atty just smiles at you for all the B’s insane statements.

Tip #1. You can always refuse to sign.

My mediation went nowhere. Bot the "impartial mediator" and my exwife ganged up on me.
My goal was 50/50 custody. Mediator said this! "Only a horrible person would take away children from their loving mother!"

After 4 hours of being beaten down? I had pretty much signed my life away.

And then a twist of fate. Their notary went home. So the mediator printed off 2 copies and said, "here, each of you take a copy to your bank to get notarized, and then submit to the court."

After I left, I had a breath of fresh air! I took that mediation agreement and tossed it in the trash and told my exwife, "See you at trial!"

At trial? Exwife submitted that mediation agreement as a "Partially signed mediation agreement." The judge also tossed that in the trash. I got my 50/50 custody.

Negotiate. Don’t give her free assets. Don’t forget you have to pay taxes- she does not alimony/child support. Try to make 2 payments amount if you are doing alimony. You have 2 months with a 3 paychecks.
If you sell the house you may have to pay taxes on the profits
