You do realize, he's 50 now, and guarantee he cannot keep the same physique he had at GLO's age (mid 20s) As for other contributors, got any names? Far as I can tell, I'm the only other one anyone can pin a face to a name, and I lift.

Some men can get away with it because their frame, demeanor and charisma let's them get away with it. Me and you? Unlikely, I've attracted women purely from aesthetics before which helped a bunch when I was younger and not as confident.

TRP for many years was about attitude, not physique or money.

In fact, TRP still is about attitude, namely confidence and charisma.

You can have game and manage TRP just fine even if you're a DYEL stick or a fat dude.

Money, physique, etc? That's for you and you alone. It isn't for others. If you want money, go for it. If you want physique, go for it.

But confidence and charisma are the foundations of TRP, and those affect every relationship you have.

Anyone who says you HAVE to lift to follow TRP is wrong. Lifting has huge benefits in many areas, but it isn't required. I know a guy in a wheelchair who can't lift due to weak arms and zero leg feeling, but he always has cute girlfriends and plates -- he has confidence, he has charisma, he's got it all.

Lifting is the easiest way for most guys most of the time who wind up finding TRP to get the most benefits (mostly mentally, especially frame, some physically, especially if you look like total shit) in the shortest period of time. If you don't get that, then you don't get why it doesn't matter that they don't need to.

Though they're not exactly skinny (especially Hunter). I've seen Rollo's 21 convention talk and he indeed seemed smaller than usual (also he put on shirt which was size too large), but Hunter looks not bad. He mentioned somewhere that he's doing some type of Army training - not everyone's doing 5x5 stronglifts.

Roosh looks good, Richard Cooper looks good, but not everybody's going to look like Jack Donovan or GLO.

i don't think lifting is necessary, but lifting and general physical fitness is a great starting place. working, seeing results, and having success with training builds confidence and builds an ability to power through tough spots. you take that new propensity to push yourself, work, and grow that is gained in the gym and apply it to work and other areas of life building, and suddenly you find yourself growing and progressing in other ways than just fitness. job promotions, raises, job changes to better positions, etc.

and the confidence carries through in how you carry yourself. others sense it. it changes your personal relational dynamics.

it's not the lifting itself, it's the way that lifting as a starting point results in big changes to you in multiple ways.

and i personally think it also builds in you the ability to say "no" when you should. you work hard to build yourself, physically, career wise, etc. people come along that try to knock you off track, manipulate and take advantage of you. when you've worked hard to build yourself up, it makes it easy to say "no" when you need to in order to keep others from leeching onto you, hurting your growth and position, etc. it makes it easier to learn to put yourself first and protect your growth from people that will try to suck it all away from you.

not to mention other men (and women) just plain respect a guy more if he's fit and strong. just the way it is.

so to restate in summary - you don't need to lift. but it's a really good starting point, and you build new layers of improvement on it over time.

Probably Because after a certain point, you dont really need to lift regularly anymore.

It doesnt take much to maintain strength and physique.

Im not sure what the other dudes look like but I always translated "Lift" as get fit. How you get fit is up to you. I dont think 5x5 lifts are for everyone. I just started doing them and love them and understand why its recommended but for the last 5 years I have always been in great shape. Its worked for me my issue was my game sucked.

People here need to also think for them selves. You can still be Alpha with out looking like a fucking mutant.

Its great to put on muscle and gain strength but for me personally I have a limit to where I want to be. Honestly IDAF about squatting or deadlifting 500. Im good with just getting my shit to 235 ( I weight 150 and yeah I am a short dude)

Im good with trying to preserve my back as long as I can. That dosen't mean don't do shit but you can get it strong without going overboard.

Also everyones situation is different. Some people have health issues. Some people have had surgeries, some people have been injured. Some people cant do everything. The point is if you cant you do what you can to stay fit and attractive.

Thats just my 2 cents.
