It's because women are stupid.

Basically.

They don't know. They have no idea. So, they fixate on those things that they find attractive in men, and copy that, thinking that'll make them more attractive.

They have no idea that i/we/you don't care about their status.

A man will happily marry a hair dresser that treats him nice, instead of an executive v.p. that's constantly arguing.

It's called "gender blindness". They know what they like about us and think we are attracted to the same thing in them.

masculine features are physical features. You're talking about INTELLECTUAL features, not gender specific features.

Having items which cost money tells me either she rooked other dudes or she works very well on her own so she won't need to dig into my wallet.

Degree : depends entirely which degrees. Mechanical engineering isn't psychology or feminist studies.
