where i come from (Pakistan), arranged marriages are a thing and although most of them happen with the bride's consent, forced marriages too, happen. anyways it seems to me that people seriously can't fathom the idea that men too can be forced to marry and might be in danger. in almost every case of a forced marriage it's always a man's duty to make sure if his wife or soon to be wife actually wants to marry him and isn't being held at gunpoint and not the other way round. men too can be forced into marriage and hundreds, if not thousands of men have been killed in the name of honour for not marrying the woman of their parent's choice. but sadly women are wonderful and the media only cares about them. grown men are raped in prison and homeless shelters but it is all just shrugged off as men being a danger to men. has society failed men everywhere on Earth at this point?
