That article is not only misleading, but also a good way to gaslight men who actually google what happens to them - I see that site has a good algorithm optimization so it shows up early on.

One of the things you'll see in there and are absolutely untrue - people don't believe women out of the blue, but a common opinion doesn't matter. And neither does the mass media's deliberate bashing, despite how much damage it causes you - it's real effect is a pressure it creates to get a "desired" verdict. What ultimately matters is the legal proceeding and it's rigged itself, without any other factor. Not even judges believe in it, but even when such laws don't mandate it outright, there are certain practices that were established under "expert opinions" and judges need to follow such established practice(s). A good way to understand is this - no law explicitly mandates that a woman is primary parent, so far so good... until you realize that the Feminist "experts" lobbied, through various circles, including academia, legislators, NGOs and government-funded think-tanks - that mother's best interest is child's best interest. This is what established a precedence and it was creeping slowly until it became universal for all child custody cases - it started with so-called "tender years", then it expanded on not separating older kids from younger siblings who were affected, then it eventually got covered in such universal "conclusion" that mother's interest is what matters and is equal to child's interest. Among many examples, I'll just remind you that this is the reason you don't have any restrictions or separate account for child support that would warrant to justify to what purpose the child support money way spent.

In fact, false DV allegations are so common that lawyers will routinely advise women to press these charges as long as it's safe to rule out it won't be possible to prove it in court, outside of reasonable doubt, that these were not only false but deliberate smear tactics. This tactic is also a bargaining chip even when it's not employed - so the negotiation about child custody and property settlement usually involved even your own lawyer advising you to settle and avoid litigation, emphasizing that other layer can make sure these charges are pressed and yo're evicted from your mutual home, sealing the final outcome in any case. Some 50 years ago the general audience might have been less informed about false allegations, but now it's like EVERYONE knows someone in their wider circle who got the shaft in the legal process upon going to court to fight - which is why people DON'T buy into it, but the general opinion doesn't matter, after all.

But the biggest LOL is the list of gaslight-alike advice at the end. I.e. don't dispute every claim, don't dispute any claim at all if needed, let it be, let the other party win easily and yes, it seems they forgot that part about Jesus coming like a Savior or something, but the point the author(s) or that article hint is the same. Let's just say one thing - life doesn't work like that, if you follow this kind of advice faithfully it'll likely gaslight you to depression and what else, life is unfair and you need to fight for yourself, do not forget and don't forgive what people did to you, in order to forgive wrongdoing it's solely up to you, but to even reconsider in doing so it's required that the other party tries to fix the wrongdoing. Even if you FAIL while fighting such fight, make sure that you tried your best to not allow other party walk over you.

If you don't do what you (legally) can, you'll be faced with a terrible feeling of regret that you didn't do your best even thught you "knew" you'll get screwed over by "going the nice path". You won't get a medal for it either. Advice the author gives is what will be far more likely to cause a severe depression, suicidal thoughts, desire to outright kill other party and so on. Don't be that guy and don't be a general after the battle you didn't even have - if someone is seeking for a "fight" don't back down and do your best to win it - pull back ONLY when you rationally know you're not going to win it... you'll be clear in your mind and it'll be easier to move on and shut that person out completely and for good... and you should never forget and never forgive and if you ever get the chance, forgiveness has a strong preconditions and with this attitude you will stop or minimize the chances of that same thing repeating again.
