Hello, my name is Jason, and I am going through a challenging divorce. I have been unemployed for over six months, and my lease is about to expire, so I have nowhere to live. I need a retainer fee to hire a lawyer to help me get back into my home and move on with my life.

Neither my wife nor I have any restraining orders against each other because we tried to work things out between us. I don't want to say anything wrong about my wife. It takes two to make a marriage work and two to ruin it.

A little about me: I worked from home at a full-time work-from-home job and raised my two kids full-time until last year. Last year, my wife and I decided it would be best for me to move out of our home for the sake of our children and not deal with the fighting. Our marriage was incompatible, and it caused a lot of unnecessary action.

Unfortunately, I will be homeless when my apartment lease ends in a week. I have $1,000 donated by one of my sisters, but I need $4,000 more to pay the lawyer's retainer fee. This lawyer can help me get back into my home with the kids I love so dearly and not in a homeless shelter.

I am currently working at UPS loading trucks at 50 years old. While I am grateful for the work, it is backbreaking, and the pay is low. I have another promising job doing deliveries for Amazon, with an interview on the 18th. I continue to seek employment in the technology sector, where I do best, but the job market has not been booming as it has in the past, and I am struggling to make ends meet.

I never thought I would end up in this situation. I have always been there for others, and it is tough to ask for help.
