Out of all the different parts of the manosphere, MGTOWs were the ones I identified with the most. I worked to incorporate that philosophy into my life. I recall MGTOW seemed to be becoming quite widespread around 2018. But then, it seems to have hit its peak and now declining. Especially after the Youtube banhammer taking out lots of good MGTOW channels and Reddit banning r/MGTOW and r/mgtow2. After that, I haven't heard of any good MGTOW forums, after the biggest one shut down some months ago. And there's no good MGTOW youtube channels left. THe only one I can think of is Happy Humble Hermit. All other channels, like Sandman's seem to be the McDonaldization of MGTOW content, basically endless, frequent low effort videos talking about the same topics, or endless "feminist owned" compilations. MGTOW is also at a disadvantage as its a passive philosophy, compared to say incels, PUAs and ofcourse, MRAs.

I felt like MGTOW would be the only way for the emancipation of men in today's world. I would have identified with MRAs, but in this day, when pretty much all legal, economic, social, governmental spheres are controlled by either feminists, simps or "feminist allies", it doesn't seem like we'd go anywhere advocating for men. The only way left is to completely check out of the game and society. But, now with the decline of MGTOW, I feel like it will eventually die off, and we'll be stuck in a hopeless, endless spiral of men's rights and conditions in society. Men, especially Gen Zs and Gen Alphas, seem to be increasingly moving either to the incels sphere, or following PUA/redpill grifters like Andrew Tate, which I believe will just make them more miserable.

Sorry for doomposting, but I've been feeling pretty hopeless and demoralised, for men as a whole.
